Summary

The CPG Sales Planning & Commercial Associate Manager supports the growing CPG Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) business as a sales planning authority. By compiling the insights and ambitions of our sales and marketing teams, while analyzing sales trends and opportunities, this individual will facilitate customer-level planning, which will shape key aspects of the CPG business.

SALES PLANNING Develop effective forecast tools based on trends and new business

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams, as well as the KDP commercial and supply chain teams, to produce accurate and actionable forecasts for implementation for the supply chain and production teams
  • Assess current demand trends through shipments and depletion data to propose solutions to improve sales forecast accuracy
  • Forecast new CPG product launches for RTD opportunities for short and long-term planning
  • Support sales team to facilitate identifying and quantifying risks & opportunities

STRATEGY & ANALYSIS Identify, distinguish, and drive critical initiatives and analyses that support the CPG business objectives in both short-term and long-range planning. Support execution of key critical initiatives aimed at driving better business performance, including supporting sales activities, distributor success, and trade planning

CUSTOMER SUCCESS Support the CPG sales team to cultivate customer success & growth

  • Evaluate inventory & turns through distributor and customer portals
  • Support customer-level strategy and execution via reporting pertaining to performance, pricing, promotions, distribution gaps, incentive programs, and other customer & distributor responsibilities

COMMERCIALIZATION As a key member of the CPG team, find ways to collaborate with others and lead projects that make valuable contributions to the business unit

  • Gather, develop, and disseminate all regular business reporting; lead efforts to automate channel level sales reporting
  • Analyze upcoming trade promotion events and forecast accuracy
  • Generate commercialization playbook to understand customer big bets and in-store distributor execution
  • Partner with internal functions such as Commercialization, NPD, Commercial Finance, and Marketing to implement channel strategies from development to execution to performance tracking
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 2 years CPG experience
  • Strong eye for business including an understanding of sales, marketing, business models, unit/ product economics, supply chain, and manufacturing
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt in a highly collaborative environment, and a standout colleague
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex topics clearly and concisely to peers and leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to lead meetings to drive actions and accountability across cross-functional teams
  • Advanced analytical skills: demonstrated ability to quickly manipulate large raw data sets to produce reporting that is intuitive and easy to read/understand
  • The ability to interpret trends and insights from a mix of data sets for decision making and recommendations
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred

  • Experience in demand planning, financial planning & analysis, or related field
  • Experience in JDA and SAP forecasting & reporting tools
  • Experience in Tableau or a similar data visualization software
  • Experience with Syndicated Data (IRI / Nielsen)

Compensation Range:$72,000.00-$108,000.00, plus bonus.
