POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a driven and analytical Delinquency Leader to lead our rent collection processes and drive initiatives to reduce delinquency across a portfolio of properties. This role is critical to delivering substantial business impact and requires a deep understanding of multifamily rent collections, exceptional organizational and project management skills, and the ability to analyze data to track performance and implement improvements. The ideal candidate will proactively identify trends and develop strategies to enhance collection efforts, reducing delinquency rates.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Identifies trends and develops best practices for rent collection across the portfolio.
  • Leads and manages the rent collection process for a designated portfolio ensuring best practices are implemented for timely and effective collections.
  • Partners with training specialists to design and deliver collections best practices training
  • Leads and influences teams across the organization to drive results.
  • Develops and implement strategies to reduce delinquency rates
  • Analyzes receivable data to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations
  • Monitors and reports on key performance indicators related to delinquency and collection efforts
  • Ensures adherence to key collections policies, following Dominium's policies and procedures manual through portfolio compliance reviews.
  • Conducts regular meetings with key stakeholders, including Regional Managers and Vice Presidents, to review portfolio data on collections and receivables.
  • Manages projects to improve collection processes, from inception through completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Stays informed about state and local regulations related to rent collection including but not limited to delinquency notification and eviction filing processes, recognizing that they will vary from city-to-city and state-to-state and ensure all collection efforts comply with these regulations to expedite the rent collection process.


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • At least 1 year experience managing rent collections in a multifamily setting
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects from initiation through completion, with a focus on improving operational processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights to various stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment..
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with communication and project management tools/software preferred.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Familiarity with state and local rent collection and eviction regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
