Summary: The Events and Content Marketing Manager is key to marketing and generation of new business leads. The candidate is highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate. Technical knowledge required to understand nuance on website and email campaign advertising with HTML, CSS and JavaScript development and constraints. Candidate must have experience in identifying and preparing marketing campaigns targeted to US Federal Government agencies and/or other Public Sector markets.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Implements marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales enablement forecasts: preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; and updating calendars.
- Must work with Sr. Manager of Vendor Relations and Marketing to plan marketing calendar, vendor objectives and respective budget constraints.
- Work with management and partners to plan and execute on tactical marketing campaigns and execute events or marketing sponsored activities, i.e., call outbound plans, webinar, tabletop shows, marketing collateral, etc. Edit and maintain marketing material and content on external website, internal content library and sales team collateral.
- Lead the planning and execution of successful events that drive brand awareness and engagement. Responsible for every stage of event planning, from ideation and budgeting to logistics and post-event analysis.
- CRM reporting and respective vendor reporting for lead follow-up.
- Strong analytical skills to plan and execute successful marketing campaigns and meeting vendor objectives.
- Must project manage marketing campaigns and provide oversight of lead generation.

- Capable of engaging with key vendor marketing staff, sales personnel and managing multiple teams to plan and execute a successful campaign aligned with objectives.
- Tracks sales data tied to call campaigns, maintains promotional materials inventory, plans meetings and trade shows, assists in maintenance of databases and prepare necessary reports.
- Monitors budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
- Candidate will acknowledge and participate in annual ethics and security training provided by Four Points.
- Candidate will review, acknowledge and participate in any US government and regulatory security trainings periodically as required in their role.
- Must have initiative and own follow-through with the lead prospect(s) working with the sales teams.
- Participate in vendor trainings as needed and creation of new business pitch and scripts.
- Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Understanding of Adobe Creative Suite and other content creation tools.
Education/Experience:
- BS/BA Degree in related field and 4-5 years experience and/or training, OR
- Associate's Degree and greater than 6 years of experience and/or training, OR
- 7+ years of experience and/or training, OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above.
