Position Summary

The CJA/AA Field Engineer is a customer-facing, advisory role requiring both technical and business/marketing knowledge and extensive technical acumen in digital marketing technology and analytical skills. The Field Engineer will collaborate with customers and/or implementation partners to understand business needs and technical requirements. This role will advise on best practices throughout the customer lifecycle, from implementation/migration readiness to proactive solution health, troubleshooting and more, providing ad hoc enablement, recommendations and optimization opportunities to drive value realization and solution adoption.

What You'll Do
  • Be a recognized authority (by customers, partners and colleagues) in Adobe software-based solutions & technologies, specifically Customer Journey Analytics and Adobe Analytics.
  • Work to educate customers on the standard methodologies in relation to their specific industry and key business requirements
  • Lead discovery sessions to gain an in-depth knowledge of a customer's technical environment, business objectives, goals and challenges to provide measurable insights and recommendations needed to drive customer success and value with Adobe solutions, specifically Customer Journey Analytics and Adobe Analytics.
  • Effectively analyze complex implementation or post-implementation issues, identify possible resolution options, and presentation/review recommendations with customer and/or partner.
  • Efficiently multi-task, working across multiple customer engagements at the same time as well as key internal initiatives.
  • Actively maintain the highest level of technical expertise by knowing the latest Adobe technologies through internally and externally available learning opportunities and self-study.
  • Interact frequently with customers via phone, email, and/or in-person-including interaction with marketers, analysts, web developers, and C-level executives
  • Keep accurate daily and weekly records of customer billable time.
  • Use Microsoft Office products to build customer-facing documentation and presentations
What you need to succeed
  • 7+ years' experience in digital analytics or a related field
  • A deep technical knowledge of Adobe products, specifically Customer Journey Analytics and Adobe Analytics.
  • Experience articulating technical solutions and how they can solve customer business problems to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • The ability to adapt to and work effectively with a variety of customers and partners in challenging situations, employing strong facilitation skills while establishing credibility and trust quickly.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience using Adobe Analytics, specifically Analysis Workspace
  • Experience working with multi-channel customer-level data analysis
  • Comfortable interpreting a data schema, querying data using SQL, and performing data validation
  • Familiar with writing and executing API's
  • Proven experience leading unscripted, live working sessions and demos
  • Self-motivated, responsive, professional and dedicated to customer success.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and soft skills - both verbal and written
  • Ability to learn quickly, be an excellent teammate, and handle change efficiently
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $114,700 -- $196,300 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
