Business Analyst II

Position Summary:
Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is in search of a forward-thinking, experienced Business Analyst II to join our mission. This individual will act as the link between our technological capacities and our business objectives. In this position, you will support our organization by keeping us up to speed with best practices in IT standards and guidelines, while supporting IT systems and improving business efficiency. A keen attention to detail and an analytical mind are a must.

This position can be based remotely within the U.S. or El Salvador, and requires 5% travel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Works closely with customers to understand their operation within the organization and mission.
  • Works with customers as well as various technology and business specialists to provide solutions which are consistent with the technology Enterprise Architecture and platform standards.
  • Designs and implements "best practices" in the area of process modeling techniques, tools, and model management.
  • Provides consultative, technical, and staff support, as appropriate, to business units and strategic decision-making process.
  • Documents, reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Writes detailed description of functional and technical business requirements.
  • Develop test schedules, review testing plans, track and document testing efforts and assist with testing efforts where necessary.
  • Analyzes and evaluates existing and proposed systems and devises or modifies processes and procedures for solving business problems.
  • Manages requirements for projects, ensuring functional scope is maintained and deliverables are aligned with systems and client requirements.
  • Manages, coordinates, and evaluates the efforts of external organizations and consulting services engaged in the execution of technology initiatives.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis supporting special projects.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 4+ years of associated work experience.
  • Expert skills in identifying and capturing business requirements.
  • Advanced skills with process modeling tools and techniques.
  • Skilled with logical and physical data modeling tools and techniques.
  • Strong analytical and facilitation skills.
  • Decision making and problems solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working on high impact cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with all levels of the organization, both technical and non-technical.

  • CRM Systems business analysis - Blackbaud preferred

The actual salary offered for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including location, internal equity and the candidate's qualifications and professional experience. HFHI offers a competitive, comprehensive benefits package that varies by country and typically includes vacation leave, sick leave, personal days, health insurance options, retirement plan contributions and life insurance.

For work locations in the US, the hiring range for this position is $72,250 - $85,000.
