Duties and Responsibilities |
* Manage timely processing of all admission-related material (paper and electronic documents), data record and entry, database maintenance, related to admission including scanning, electronic and paper filling.
* Serve prospective students and applicants by answering incoming calls and respond to emails, greeting walk-ins, answering questions, providing prospects with contact information and taking phone messages.
* Support University partners and Academic units by answering incoming calls and respond to emails, and troubleshoot and resolve issues within Slate application system.
* Delegate work to student support staff and oversee the accuracy of the production of their work.
* Perform other duties as assigned. |
Qualifications |
High School Diploma or
GED required; some college preferred. Minimum two years of administrative and customer service support experience in an educational environment preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills with people in a diverse community
* Ability to pay attention to detail and to handle confidential information with excellent judgment and discretion required
* Demonstrated ability to proactively set priorities and work with diplomacy and efficiency in a high demand environment
* Proven customer service skills
* Excellent organizational, communication and collaborative skills
* Ability to receive detailed information through verbal and written communication
* Ability to write, expressing and exchanging ideas.
* Experience with student information systems
* Demonstrated computer experience |
