We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician. In this position, you are part of a highly skilled team that is critical in supporting production and ensuring equipment is operational to consistently meet production goals and our customers' needs.

As a Maintenance Associate, you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, replace, install, adjust, and maintain all mechanical equipment in the plant and perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot machine malfunctions, determine the problem, and implement the repair. This position requires an understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, power transmission, and steam systems. Qualified candidates must be able to read and interpret drawings and blueprints proficiently and make necessary modifications.

Additional Responsibilities




  • Plan, layout, and perform all required operations to install, maintain and repair a wide variety of plant equipment and accessories
  • Effectively troubleshoot using manuals, schematics, and diagrams to diagnose and eliminate problems as they arise
  • Safely install, maintain, and upgrade 3-phase motor control systems, and AC/DC circuits, possess an understanding of basic relay logic
  • Understand fluid power systems; troubleshoot, install, and repair power units, valve operation, cylinders, motors, pumps
  • Perform basic fabrication by cutting and welding operations
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment using standard practices and procedures
  • Maintain work areas, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
  • Follow all company and equipment safety guidelines and ethics rules
  • Maintain lift truck operator's license, main lift, and other material handling equipment


Basic Qualifications



  • General HS Diploma / GED
  • At least two (2) years of trade school or equivalent experience in industrial mechanical or electrical is required


Skills



  • Mechanical aptitude in complex mechanical assemblies including precision measurements
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints
  • Knowledge of conventional welding and industrial equipment operations
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
  • Analytical and detail-oriented mindset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Basic computer skills to maintain records, work history, and inventory of parts
  • Ability to utilize meters, gauges, or other types of test equipment to facilitate quality and timely repairs
