We're hiring aSite Sales Manager for the Industrial Group at our Christiansburg, VA location.In this role you will further the sales and business development of Moog's portfolio of motion technology products and higher-level solutions for a $55M global organization.

To be considered for the Site Sales Manager role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with a preference in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Ten (10) years of sales and/or engineering experience in the sale or product development of OEM equipment, preferably with a motion technology, or electronic corporation.
  • Five (5) years supervisory / management experience
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with all related groups, departments and customers to achieve sales growth.
  • Travel - Approximately 10% (Domestic and/or International)

As the Site Sales Manager, you will:

  • Lead the inside sales team and manufacturer's representative sales channel and serve as the business development leader and key customer interface.
  • Actively participate on the site Leadership Team, while reporting directly to the General Manager and partnering with the division's sales team.
  • Create and maintain an environment that promotes teamwork, responsiveness, efficiency and a positive working environment between our customers, sales channels and operations.
  • Develop and complete plans to implement strategic initiatives that increase sales and customer penetration. Promote synergistic selling of our complimentary product portfolio and higher-level solutions.
  • Actively engage in the career development of the inside sales and business development teams.
  • Maintain communication with departments, customers and functional managers to achieve sales, operational and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Staff, motivate and manage the sales/ business development team.
  • Oversee coordination between marketing, business development, and sales for strategic markets.
  • Support operations through establishing and achieving yearly booking forecasts and budgets.
  • Assist with strategic opportunity capture planning for key programs and proposals.
  • Coordination and cooperation with other Moog sites and divisions.

Salary Range Transparency:

Christiansburg, VA $90,000.00-$130,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
