What your job will be like:

Working within theFacilities Management and Logistics division, you will perform and supervise property control functions including quality assurance checks, data entry, and database management.

In this role, you will:


  • Maintain and review property databases.
  • Review procurement and financialtransactions to verify property items
  • Track new items to its "online" location for verification
  • Complete custodial transfers in the property system
  • Perform physical movements using MHE, of various jigs, experimentalgear & metal billets
  • Perform "floor to record" checks for Personal Property
  • Complete High Risk/Export Control tracing documents for transfers
  • Assist in the annual physical inventory of property andinventory validation
  • Escort of vendors to perform property support functions i.e. office moves, or scrap metal pickup.


    Qualifications We Require:


    • High School diploma
    • 2 years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Must be capable of attaining Certified Personal Property Specialist within 1 year on the job

      Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:


      • Knowledge of property management and inventory control procedures and documentation requirements
      • Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare accurate and understandable reports
      • Ability to use relational databases to track and analysis data including development of custom reports
      • Knowledge or ability to be trained to operate material handling equipment
      • Computer skills including but not limited to: emails, word processing, spreadsheets, databases and data entry skills.
