Responsibilities

Work Location: Kinston, NC

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provides advanced technical knowledge and leadership to manufacturing projects that affect organizational efficiency
  • Applies process management and process improvement techniques to resolve production concerns
  • Uses problem-solving, analytical, and negotiation skills to develop innovative solutions to manufacturing problems
  • Gathers data, conducts analyses, and develops recommendations for implementation of new systems and processes
  • Facilitates work teams, provides necessary training, and leads problem resolution and process improvement

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience within aerospace manufacturing operations and/or a comparable manufacturing operations
  • Strong Leadership with Projects and Initiatives
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Proven RCCA(Root Cause and Corrective Action) process skills and experience
  • Subject matter expert with minimum 5 years' experience in composites bonding with composite materials and manufacturing processes.

Preffered Qualifications:

  • Requires educational credentials meeting the Spirit classification standards for engineers and typically 5 to 8 years of experience in an engineering classification / position or a Master's degree with 3 to 6 years of experience in an engineering classification
