ABOUT THE INNOCENCE PROJECT
The Innocence Project works to free the innocent, prevent wrongful convictions, and create fair, compassionate, and equitable systems of justice for everyone. Our work is guided by science and grounded in anti-racism. Since our inception, the Innocence Project has used DNA and other scientific advancements to prove wrongful conviction. To date, we have helped to free or exonerate more than 200 people who, collectively, spent more than 3,600 years behind bars. Our efforts have led to the passage of more than 200 transformative state laws and federal reforms. ABOUT THE POSITIONThe Digital Content Intern will provide support to the Innocence Project's digital team within the communications department, and will work closely with the digital engagement specialist and digital associate. The ideal candidate has a passion for leveraging digital media and digital storytelling for good. The role will work collaboratively within and across teams, and the ideal candidate will be a committed team player who is excited about joining a dynamic digital and communications team. This position will provide day-to-day support and will facilitate processes for the digital communications team, so the ideal candidate will be organized with excellent time management skills, as well as understand and have familiarity with all types of social media. They will be ready to jump into the comments and be excited about finding creative ways to turn digital trends into real-world impact.
