Job Description: We are seeking a Maintaining Traffic Foreman, responsible for setting up and maintaining temporary traffic control in an urban roadway setting, with the ability to work nights, weekends and extended hours. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Meet with Area Manager to review the scheduled projects Lead a traffic control crew to accomplish the required maintenance of traffic alignment safely Set and maintain work zones on interstate and general arterial roadways Work within a flexible work schedule including but not limited to nights and weekends Oversee the daily work activities performed by crew Responsible for safety of the crew and quality of workmanship Education and Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience setting lane closures on interstates or urban arterials High school diploma or GED or equivalent technical training and related experience required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: ODOT certified Work Zone Traffic Supervisor preferred, but not required Must have safety knowledge Must have knowledge of traffic control Must have a valid drivers license Kokosing is an equal employment opportunity/affirmative action federal and state contractor.
