About The Position | Major goals and objectives and location requirements.

The Coordinator, Event Marketing will work with the Head of Food & Drink Events to assist with programming and talent planning and logistics for the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen and the Food & Wine Classic in Charleston. This position will also provide support across the event marketing team as needed.

This position is hybrid in the NY-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.

The Event Marketing team works on the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, the Food & Wine Classic in Charleston, F&W Best New Chefs, as well as many other events across the food, drink, travel, and lifestyle categories. We are a highly effective, small and collaborative team.

About The Positions Contributions: Weight % Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results.

  • 40% Plan talent and chef logistics including travel, lodging, weekend schedules
  • 20% Work with the events team to help coordinate and execute projects related to event marketing
  • 10% Manage invitation and check in process and other onsite event needs
  • 10% Support event marketing team with contracts, budgets, research, records and databases
  • 20% Coordinate logistical aspects of events, including travel, accommodations, transportation when needed

The Role's Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements

Education: 1-2 years of experience in events. Culinary events are a plus.

Experience: Bachelor's degree in event management, marketing or a related field

Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:

  • Effective project management skills
  • Organized and have good attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends and travel when needed
  • Work effectively as an individual contributor, and collaboratively as a team member
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Must have the ability to multitask, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

% Travel Required (Approximate): 5-10%

Pay Range

Hourly: New York: $20.00 - $24.04

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
