In this role, you will deliver valuable analytical insights across the entire business lifecycle, directly contributing to increased quote conversion rates, improve business quality monitoring, and foster effective feedback loops to our Account teams. Your efforts will be instrumental in driving profitable growth and strengthening our partnerships. To enable such analysis, you will be capable of developing dynamic dashboards, financial models, and advanced statistical models, along with data scrubbing, validation, and manipulation.

Position Compensation Range:

$86,000.00 - $141,000.00

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Conducts accurate and timely business analysis and reporting to support and drive business decisions using statistical modeling and other business analysis tools.
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to define key financial and operational metrics to continuously monitor, track, and report performance.
  • Collaborates with business partners in the development and delivery of key performance analysis and reporting.
  • Builds and maintains models used to project business results; enhances the model where there is business value in adjusting the models.
  • Ensures analysis and reporting accuracy and integrity and explains performance drivers and provides insights into performance trends.
  • Analyzes and addresses data quality issues, tests and analyzes impact of system changes to data/reporting infrastructure.
  • Develops, tests, and deploys automated reporting solutions and automated decision analytics to replace manual business processes.
  • May be requested to complete other assignments or participate in projects based upon skills, achievements, or experience.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of forecasting techniques or statistical analysis.
  • Demonstrated strong experience utilizing data tools to build complex formulas and create reports.
  • Understanding of software tools to query and report data.
  • Knowledge of a variety of standard reporting software packages and best practices for report deployment processes.
  • Demonstrated experience developing data sets.

  • Work that primarily involves sitting/standing.

Working Conditions

  • Not Applicable.
  • Possess SQL and dashboarding skills to meticulously monitor business flows at a detailed level
  • Ability to create clear, concise presentations
  • Comfortable presenting and advocating effectively for analyses and recommendations
  • Background in insurance or a willingness to learn is highly preferred
  • Preferred candidates will possess or be in the process of obtaining a CPCU designation or have passed the SOA Exam P (Probability) and Exam FM (Financial Mathematics).

In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from one of the following office locations: Madison, WI; or Boston, MA
