Overview Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is an independent, nonprofit organization providing adult cancer treatment and groundbreaking research focused on cancer and infectious diseases. Based in Seattle, Fred Hutch is the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center in Washington. The Associate Director, DEI Client Services & Program Strategy collaborates with the Vice President and Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer (VPCDEIO) to build DEI capacity within the organization's leadership, implementing the DEI Strategic Plan across units. This role involves developing and maintaining the DEI Core Communications Plan, conducting research projects to support strategic initiatives, and delivering educational programs. The Associate Director, DEI Client Services & Program Strategy partners with various departments to align DEI messaging, serves on committees to advance DEI goals, and mentors team members in DEI practices and leadership development. This role will have the opportunity to work partially at our campus and remotely. Responsibilities PRIMARY/ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Collaborate with the Vice President and Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer (VPCDEIO) to enhance DEI capacity in the extended leadership of the enterprise. Actively engage with leadership across the organization to implement the DEI Strategic Plan across assigned units within the organization. Design and oversee a comprehensive deployment strategy and schedule for consultation work, developing detailed work plans, monitoring systems, and collaborating with the Director of DEI Coaching, Client Services & Culture to ensure the delivery of effective coaching services.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $137,260 to $216,923, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications. This position may be eligible for relocation assistance. This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus.
