We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of HSE Specialist in our US Onshore Resources & Carbon Management (ORCM), HSE Business Unit based in Odessa, Texas.

Essential Functions:



  • Responsible for communicating and applying federal, state, local and company HSE policies in addition to requirements within operations
  • Develop and implement new and existing programs designed to promote improved HSE performance, annual maintenance of risk management plans, emergency response planning, audits and assessments
  • Record keeping, internal and external reporting, development of written reports
  • Assist, or lead, investigations of important incidents, as requested. Provide HSE training and support to operations/construction field personnel
  • Maintain water system for the plant/field operations
  • Inspect all HSE equipment for plant and field

Qualifications

Education

High School diploma or GED

Experience:



  • 3+ years of relevant OOG HSE industry or field operations experience
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety
  • Confined space entry, hot work, lockout/tagout and other safe work system permits
  • Demonstrated ability to work within multi-discipline team environment
  • Ability to prepare and deliver both written and oral presentations
  • Advanced in use of Microsoft Office Suite software
  • Demonstrated problem solving and time management skills
  • Valid driver's license and excellent driving record



Additional Desired Qualifications:

HSE-related degree or HSE certifications strongly preferred
