OVERVIEW We have an exciting opportunity for a strategic marketing communications leader to help us shape the future of our North American Foodservice (NAF) business at General Mills. In the Sr. Planner, NAF Brand Experience - Custom Large Chain and Bread role, you will deliver modern multi-channel communication ideas and plans, steward compelling activations, and contribute to remarkable business results for our businesses. This is a great opportunity to leverage (or even learn) critical B2B marketing skillsets and develop purposeful integrated experiences for our customers. This position will work exclusively with our custom large chain pizza/frozen baked goods accounts and our in-store bakery bread business. This is an incredible opportunity to bring marketing strategies and ideas to life for some of the highest-priority businesses in North American Foodservice. The ideal candidate has a love for big ideas, a strategic mindset, can prioritize and move multiple projects forward simultaneously, ability to utilize data and analytics for decision-making, and isn't afraid to question the status quo. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Work closely with Channel marketers, the Performance team, agencies, and cross-functional partners in the creation of customer-first communication strategies, ideas, and plans
- Aggressively pursue opportunities and create communications deliverables that align with business goals and objectives
- Seek ways to personalize and optimize operator engagement based on customer understanding, campaign performance, and business data and analytics
- Develop briefs that inspire internal and external partners to create meaningful ideas rooted in consumer truths and insights
- Ensure consistency across communications channels and touchpoints
- Supervise and own the day-to-day plan execution, ensuring strategic focus and prioritization
- Develop and maintain an acute knowledge of the business, customer, and communications landscape. Demonstrate leadership in identifying trends, opportunities, issues, and best practices across marketing communications to drive culturally relevant customer experiences.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience in working with multiple marketing communication touchpoints (including digital, social, and PR) and developing best-in-class communication and creative strategies.
- Track record of close collaboration with creative partners to bring holistic ideas to life
- Clear understanding of and ability to translate strategy into plans. Experience orchestrating and executing multi-faceted plans.
- Customer-first mindset. Be an expert, always learning about customers, their behaviors, and as well as emerging environmental trends.
- Comfort defining and refining work in ambiguous situations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with business partners and leaders across levels, functions, and cultures, positively influencing the advancement of priorities.
- Ability to think systemically and lead complex processes, while also paying attention to details and maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
- Imaginative, curious, creative, and out-of-the-box critical thinker. Ability to demonstrate a creative approach to problem-solving that leverages and challenges current thinking.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years relevant experience in customer-focused integrated marketing
- B2B marketing experience, preferably in the food manufacturing industry
- Experience in organizations pursuing digital transformation, particularly in the CPG or retail industries
- Experience working in a matrixed/cross-functional organization
- A passion for team and culture building

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $68700.00 - $114600.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
