The Department of Neurological Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center invites applications for a full-time Assistant, Associate Professor, or Professor (non-tenure track) faculty position. The position will continue to build a general clinical neurosurgery practice at our Texas Health Dallas campus. There will be opportunities to build a practice in routine and complex spine procedures at the well-established community hospital with access to the resources of a major academic institution. Spine trauma coverage is required. In support of the Department's academic mission, faculty members are expected to teach neurosurgery residents and medical students. Qualifications
Academically qualified for regular faculty appointment as an associate professor or professor of neurosurgery at UT Southwestern Medical School. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information.
