Entry-Level Engineer: This is where you come in. We're looking for an Entry-Level Engineer to design and coordinate mechanical and plumbing systems. You should feel comfortable working closely with the design and construction teams while monitoring/maintaining the scope, schedule, and budget of various projects. You should also have a passion for energy and sustainable design. You will be expected to stay current with new industry practices and technologies, and provide completed, high-quality drawings and specifications to the rest of the engineering team. Top deliverables in the first year to be a hero:
- Design and coordinate mechanical/plumbing systems including sizing ductwork, piping, and plumbing systems
- Represent MacDonald-Miller both internally and externally (including working closely with design and construction teams)
- Complete the HVAC loads and other engineering calculations. Select and schedule mechanical and plumbing equipment
- Monitor and maintain the scope / schedule / budget of various projects
- Know and stay current with new technologies / industry practices / coding languages, as well as building standards regarding sustainability
- Provide completed high quality drawings and specifications
The Entry-Level Engineer role reports to Ben Gezon/ Engineering Principal on a collaborative team working on a variety of projects and initiatives to support our growing business. This highly visible role interacts with all levels and functions within the organization. You should have...
- A track record of delivering accurate designs for mechanical projects
- Expertise leveraging CAD, Revit, and Bluebeam software
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Construction, or Civil Engineering

Compensation: $70,000-$85,000 annually MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions presently provides employee coverage for:
