Diamond Credit Union is looking for an ambitious Business Acumen Intern to join our team for our Professional Internship Program. During their time here at Diamond the intern will be assisting on integral business projects and gaining invaluable real-world experience. The intern will also have exposure to the operations of several of the departments that are instrumental to the daily operations of the organization.

Position Summary:

The Business Operations Intern will be responsible for completing projects as assigned by the appropriate departments. The intern will be exposed to and experience a day in the life of various departments that are relevant in their future profession. Internal networking with employees and executives to build professional network. The intern will be expected to contribute new ideas and opportunities for the company as appropriate.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

No direct reports.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist the department by completing the assigned project.
  • Engage and interact with multiple team members while observing various departments.

Responsibilities & Learning Objectives:

  • Represent Diamond in a positive and professional manner.
  • Gain experience and knowledge of financial institution software systems.
  • Acquire working knowledge of the credit union's brand, membership, and products and services.
  • Experience and understand the operations of several departments that are vital to the daily operations of the credit union.
  • Propose ideas and improvements as you travel through each department.
  • Gain and apply financial literacy.
Requirements

Required Skills / Abilities:

  • Demonstrated dedication to positive, member-focus service.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good technical skills and ability to work with multiple systems.

Education / Experience:

  • Business Administration Student in your 3rd or 4th year of college graduate program.
  • Two plus years of customer service experience, preferably within a financial institution. Education / Experience:
