The Wholesale team works with our customers one-on-one, developing professional relationships based on trust and care.

GENERAL FUNCTION

The HR Business Partner (Administrator) provides support to assigned business units and HRBP team by ensuring effective execution of EssilorLuxottica HR programs and initiatives. The role is responsible for HR services for a designated business unit(s), including but not limited to, engagement, performance management and generalist support.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Builds trust and provides proactive and comprehensive support to client groups.
  • Executes HR processes and efficiencies across client groups.
  • Ensure managers execute appropriate HR practices, processes, tools, and systems.
  • Provides support, training, and direction to business management regarding HR processes.
  • Strives to educate and train employees to be more self-reliant for basic HR needs.
  • Act as initial point of contact in addressing HR-related issues and questions.
  • Collaborates with HR COE partners as appropriate to ensure opportunities are addressed systemically and consistently, with a focus on creating a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Provides coordination support to organizational restructure projects, as needed.
  • Coaches managers regarding policy interpretation, best practices, employee behavior, performance management and development.
  • Assists managers with risk assessment and issue diagnosis and resolution.
  • Maintains fluency in and ensures consistent application of company policies/procedures.
  • Builds a positive work environment and supports the Company's HR strategy
  • Takes accountability for identification, prioritizing, and resolving/escalating issues within established timelines in partnership with HR Manager.
  • When necessary, conducts investigations in partnership with HR Manager and with guidance from Employee Relations Team.
  • Supports benefits and LOA processes as appropriate, including return to work process and accommodation requests.
  • Identifies trends in employee issues and participates in troubleshooting and ongoing evaluation of best practices and process improvement.
  • Serves as an integral part of on-boarding experience for employees and partners with functional teams to ensure smooth transition into EssilorLuxottica
  • Supports client groups in partnership with Professional Solutions HR Project Team in all HRIS programs including pay, data, leave, etc.
  • Creates specific business reporting on an ad-hoc basis in partnership with Professional Solutions HR Project Team
  • Tracks and consolidates headcount data to facilitate the forecasting process


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, HR management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years' experience in HR Generalist role or similar role supporting the employee life cycle (performance management, employee relations, development/ management coaching, engagement)
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, processes and programs
  • Sense of urgency and drive for results
  • Critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Responsive, with strong interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills
  • Strong collaboration, teamwork and relationship-building skills; Reinforces one voice of HR
  • Demonstrated ability to treat confidential matters with appropriate discretion
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Pay Range: 71,603.20-97,405.20

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
