Novanta is hiring technical new career professionals across a variety of engineering disciplines. These roles are created for recent college graduates seeking to expand their experiences working on a variety of engineered solution components in the Novanta portfolio.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work closely with other engineers to interpret design specifications in support of new and existing product development initiatives
  • Develop test plans, conduct testing and document results to ensure product performance requirements are met
  • Hands-on trouble-shooting of electrical components and systems
  • Detect and fix software bugs to ensure the entire system is capable of meeting performance requirements
  • Specific technical project work focused on Novanta innovations.

Required Experience, Education, Skills and Competencies

  • BS in a technical discipline is required including Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Enginering, Robotics and Automation Engineering, Optical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 0-2 years of professional experience. Experience can include academic, internships or experience in a professional setting.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office.
  • Active and professional communication with team, internal customers and external stakeholders.
  • Exhibit & encourage sense of urgency, highly energetic and success driven.
  • Multi-task and prioritize projects and primary responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual and negotiation skills.

Travel Requirements

  • Less than 10%
