The Data Governance Manager is responsible for the implementation and operation of the company's data governance program, ensuring data quality, oversight, usage, system analysis, and retention to meet quality standards. This role collaborates across departments to maintain data consistency and quality, contributing to the development of data governance and standards policies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement and manage the data governance program

- Ensure data quality, oversight, and proper usage

- Perform system analysis and manage data retention

- Collaborate with various departments to ensure data consistency and quality

- Develop and maintain data governance and standards policies

- Document data governance processes and compile reports on metrics

- Conduct benchmarking to identify trends and patterns

Minimum Requirements:

- 7+ years' experience in data governance, quality management, or a related area

- Track record of working on complex problems and providing innovative solutions.

- Works under consultative direction towards long-range targets

- Ability to manage complex projects and mentor team members

Additional Qualifications:

- Determines and pursues courses of action essential to obtaining desired outcomes

- Ability to collaborate with various departments and teams to maintain data consistency and quality

- Goals generally communicated in terms of solutions or project objectives

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$111,300 - $185,500
