Wage Range: $25.00 - 32.00 / hr DOE
JOB SUMMARY
A Front of House Restaurant Manager at Crystal Mountain oversees daily operations of a F&B venue, ensuring excellent guest service and smooth workflow. Key responsibilities include scheduling and managing FOH staff, maintaining high standards of food and beverage service, and resolving guest concerns. This role requires effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to create a welcoming environment for guests before during and after a day on the slopes. Additionally, the manager collaborates with kitchen staff and shipping & receiving, monitors inventory and enforces health and safety protocols to ensure a seamless dining experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Assists Group Manager in creating the budget and upholds the budget
- Responsible for maintaining par levels and ordering product
- Coordinates how product gets to venue
- Responsible for inventory input and calculation of COGs
- Set schedules for FOH and BOH
- Manage and oversee venue operations
- Help achieve restaurant operational objectives
- Plan and develop staff incentive programs
- Assist the Group Manager in the planning of strategies
- Respond to customer concerns and questions
- Control costs and minimize waste while ensuring high quality of preparation
- Nurture a positive working environment
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and secure working environment
- Help maintain current reservations system and training when needed
- Promote and market the business
- Help oversee stock levels and order supplies when needed
- Coordinate communication between from front of the house and back of the house
- Assist the General Manager with daily pre-shift meetings
- Gather guest & employee feedback and recommend improvements to management
- Assist in administering training programs
- Monitor labor and product expenses to remain within budget, meet goals, and successfully advertise and support the CMR brand
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
- 1+ years' experience in a restaurant lead role in the hospitality industry
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Must have Washington MAST Card
- Must have Washington Food Handler Card
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
- This position is required to work evenings, weekends and holidays while in operation.
- Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 20 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis.
- Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling on an occasional basis.
