About the team

The Worldpay procurement team brings focused expertise and drives a culture of spending discipline for strategic vendors/categories (highly critical to current and future business operations) via the employment of efficient, effective, and best in class strategic sourcing, contract management, negotiation, and supplier management practices. They serve as a central point of contact for indirect strategic suppliers for goods and services supporting Worldpay's operations and growth trajectory in the marketplace.

This position pays $129,000 - $159,000 + Bonus.

What you'll own

The Sr. Indirect Strategic Sourcing Analyst will report to the Senior Director, Strategic Sourcing and Planning. This person(s) require competency in customer focus, change, innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building, and influencing, with results focus to not only meet, but exceed expectations including cost reduction and risk mitigation.

This position will serve as an individual contributor across a growing strategic sourcing team and comfortable working in an ambiguous environment as we plan and build a world class procurement organization supporting a financial technology (FINTECH) services company experiencing rapid growth. Must be comfortable working in an initial ambiguous environment as we build.

  • Competitively source indirect spend through engagement of strategic suppliers and application of industry knowledge. This may include the right depth and breadth of experience sourcing products and services including, but not limited to human resources, payroll/benefits, marketing, advertising, learning and development, software subscription services, cloud services, technology services, professional services, contract labor, market data services, etc.

  • Drafting, negotiating, project manage and executing contractual documents including but not limited to non-disclosure agreements, master service agreements, statements of work, sales orders, letter of intent agreements, and purchase orders.

  • Experience developing commodity and services-based sourcing materials including but not limited to playbooks, templates, best practices, and market research to use for team sourcing events and internal knowledge sharing and team development.

  • Supplier management - supporting the evolution of supplier management through supplier scorecard development and supplier quarterly business reporting.

  • Liaise with non-technical business personnel and department leaders to understand and source functional and financial requirements with current and/or prospective suppliers.

  • Summarize and present business cases and agreements for executive review and approval.

Where you'll own it

While we're a large team of Worldpayers based in North America, we have collaborative spaces and regular opportunities to celebrate with each other in person. Open to remote within the United States for the right candidate.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

  • Advanced key procurement skills: development and management of category strategies; RFP / RFI development, contract negotiations, strategic sourcing, management of supplier relationship lifecycle, understanding of risk mitigation principles, and understanding of various cost evaluation methods (TCO, ROI, Payback Period, etc.)

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience sourcing primarily indirect non-technology products and services in a non-manufacturing environment.

  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing business strategy, extensive business case writing, strong background in market intelligence research, and proficient in negotiation strategy and tactics.

  • Extensive experience managing Business Requirements, Project Plans, Project Schedules, and associated project materials in a mid to large size company.

  • Advanced contracting skills - knowledge of contracting principles, laws, regulations, and industry standards.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate information clearly and concisely at multiple levels, adapting easily to change. Capable of effective executive management presentations / communications.

Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
