About This Role

The Accountant II will be responsible for building and managing daily accounting and financial functions for all grant and non-grant departmental accounts. This role will also work closely with university partners, program partners, and staff on invoicing, procurement contracts and subawards, and preparing financial reports for funding agencies and university sponsored accounting.

Worksite Option

This position is eligible for hybrid and/or remote worksite.

Work may be performed on employer premises, designated assignment location and/or performed fully in a remote capacity.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma
  • Two years of relevant experience


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or related field
  • Two years accounting experience or minimum of three years in an accounting role requiring familiarity with university, state or federal accounting
  • Strong computer background skills to include QuickBooks, Oracle and other web-based applications
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively on financial/accounting policy and procedures

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range

$23.00-$26.44 ($47,840.00-$54,995.20)
