PSN Network Services Intern - Undergraduate United State, San Diego: this position can be performed fully remote or hybrid out of the SIE-PlayStation San Diego, CA office. A cover letter is not required, but highly encouraged for this role. About the Team: Our team built key PS5 client features and PlayStation Network services. We are a dynamic team working on several different projects all of which are focused on delivering value and new experiences to players. We also work with game teams, in order to help them deliver their products faster to market. We are looking for an intern who is technical and may not have the experience to know the answer but is capable of working with colleagues to help deliver the best possible solution. We are looking for someone is independent, a self starter and motivated to help us deliver the best products and services to our players. What You'll Be Doing: Gain hands-on experience in full-stack development and end-to-end testing. Apply a detailed-oriented approach with strong communication skills to work autonomously. Independently discover, refine, and implement required features or functionality. Switch between technology stacks on both the client and service side. Collaborate across a diverse group of individuals to ensure projects meet their requirements and deadlines. What We're Looking For: Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field, with an expected graduation by Spring 2026. Experience with Java, React, JavaScript, and web applications. Experience with Python programming language. Strong collaboration skills, especially when working with geographically dispersed and culturally diverse teams. A passion for gaming and an understanding of how players interact with the PlayStation 5 console. Experience with NoSQL databases is a plus! Eligibility: Able to work during one of the following periods: May 19th - August 8th or June 16th - September 5th. Must be available for the entire 12-week internship period. Open to students who are U.S. citizens or international students with an F-1 visa. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates. Our intern positions offer a fixed hourly pay rate. Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
