Discover your exciting role

Expert Cyber Defence role is pivotal in safeguarding Exyte's
information systems and digital assets. This position is
responsible for identifying, evaluating, and addressing
security vulnerabilities while closely collaborating with a
managed Security Operations Centre (SOC) provider. As a key
member of the Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) and Vulnerability
Management programs, the role also plays a critical part in
strengthening our Cyber Incident Response capabilities,
ensuring swift and effective mitigation of potential threats.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Analyse end-to-end management of the Company's SOC for
    security related incidents including Application,
    Infrastructure and Cloud environments.
  • Leads the execution of Security audits and Penetration
    tests.
  • Identifies and responds to evolving threats in the
    cybersecurity space and reports threats to internal and
    external stakeholders with a sense of urgency.
  • Protect the company's digital assets and
    identifies/resolves vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
  • Makes updates to security standards and procedures to
    ensure security controls and uses SME to foster a security
    supportive environment.
  • Collaborate with an external Security Operations Centre
    team.
  • Report to stakeholders the resolution to Security
    incidents.
  • Be the SME on the latest intelligence, including threat
    actor methodologies to anticipate security breaches.
  • Prepare security reports and root cause analysis.
  • Evaluate security threats and perform risk analysis using
    critical thinking skills, experience, recognition and
    awareness.


Show your expertise

  • Educational Degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or
    similar with relevant professional experience
  • 8+ years of experience in Cyber security roles, including
    SOC environments
  • Professional security certifications from accredited
    institutes
  • Experience developing and maintaining security architecture
    artifacts (e.g., models, templates, standards, and procedures)
    to leverage security capabilities in projects and operations to
    address issues.
  • Proven skills in risk analysis and threat modelling
  • Ability to coordinate complex Information Security
    Incidents
  • Proven skills in Vulnerability Management & Threat
    Intelligence platforms.
  • Experience with industry best practices (CIA Triad, OWASP,
    CIS, COBIT, MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Defense Matrix), standards
    (ISO27001, SOC2, Open FAIR), and frameworks (NIST CSF)
  • Team player with a high level of personal integrity
  • Highly proficient in both spoken and written English,
    German is a plus
  • Strong decision-making capabilities and ownership, with a
    proven ability to think outside the box and weigh the relative
    risks, costs and benefits
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills -
    expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to
    individuals or groups effectively, considering the audience and
    nature of the information
  • Excellent Problem-Solving skills - identify problems,
    determine accuracy and relevance of information, and use sound
    judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives to make
    recommendations.
  • Passion for working in a diverse and multicultural
    environment in a global organization
