Job Summary This position is responsible for assessing, incubating, developing and executing Subsidiary Oversight strategies while building and managing complex relationships and driving operational performance. Collaborates with the Subsidiary and HCSC Operations leaders to establish strategic opportunities aligned with corporate goals, local plan objectives, changing demands of the marketplace, and regulatory and legislative requirements for ongoing performance improvement of subsidiaries. Advises during strategy implementation and develops processes and tools to support iterative evaluation of value delivered. Works with subsidiary on key performance indicators that showcase the overall health of the subsidiary and executes mitigation strategies when metrics miss targets.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of experience in managing subsidiary or supplier relationships including experience playing lead role in program/project level delivery.

  • Demonstrates leadership experience to influence change.

  • Experience delivering transformative cross functional projects within a matrixed organization.

  • Experience managing subsidiary or supplier relationships and deep knowledge of subsidiary or supplier performance management.

  • Experience managing difficult relationships and resolving conflict.

  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and execute while navigating and building relationships.

  • Ability to synthesize, simplify, and standardize complex concepts/processes toward tangible results.

  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively and professionally with co-workers, management, customers, etc.

  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize, and make trade-off decisions.

  • Analytical thinking and consultative problem solving.

  • Teamwork and collaboration.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology and/or Health Care Management.

  • Master's in Business Administration or Health Care Management.

  • Advanced education or certifications in Supplier Management, Health Care Management, etc.

  • Prior experience in Information Technology, Health Care Management, Customer Service, Relationship Management, Government, Insurance, and/or Healthcare.

  • Knowledgeable in quality methodologies; Lean and/or Six Sigma philosophies, tools, and techniques.

  • Knowledge of Contract Financial Management practices including invoice tracking and budget analysis.

  • Knowledge of procurement technologies.

  • Knowledge of foundational IT systems, solutions, and capabilities.
