MAINTENANCE COACH- 2nd SHIFT

FLINT, MI PLANT

As a member of the Maintenance Team, the Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining machinery, equipment, building and property, and for supervision of department employees.

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:



  • Maintain equipment, machinery, building, and property
  • Ensure spare parts inventory meets requirements.
  • Assist with Industrial Engineering changes.
  • Install new equipment. Assists with tooling.
  • Assist maintenance employees with personnel and job-related issues.
  • Meet with contractors. Prepares maintenance contracts.
  • Contact various government agencies on facility-related issues.
  • Monitor safety procedures in plant.
  • Maintain and monitor preventative maintenance program.
  • Maintain employee records, absenteeism, etc.
  • Various computer reports for monthly downtime, cost reductions, etc.
  • Perform any other duties required in pursuance of the function of this position or as directed.
  • Work with vendors to obtain MSDS sheets and other information needed for documentation purposes.
  • Maintain approved budget.
  • Follow all corporate and local policies and procedures for safety, ISO14001/TS16949.

Your Qualifications:



  • Certified Industrial trade (Millwright, Electrician, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of local building codes, standards, and OSHA requirements preferred.
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent experience.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to troubleshoot and problem solve under pressure.



Bonus If You Have:



  • Allen Bradley PLC knowledge.
  • Allen Bradley PLC programing experience.
  • Experience with Atlas Copco Torque equipment a plus.
  • Knowledge of Fanuc Robotics a plus.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Suite.
