Corporate Accounting Systems Analyst

About the Role:

This role provides critical analytical support to the Corporate Accounting & Finance teams, as well as other business areas within the company. You will be responsible for developing complex financial reports using our corporate consolidation reporting tool, conducting performance analysis, and offering proactive solutions to business challenges. You will also play a key role in strategic projects, including system updates and process improvements.

What You'll Do:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain complex financial reports and ad hoc requests, including advanced Excel macros using consolidation tool (SAP BPC).

  • Provide accurate and timely reports and analysis to management and various departments to support decision-making.

  • Conduct ad hoc financial and operational analysis as needed.

  • Utilize SAP, including BW (Business Warehouse) queries and Analysis for Microsoft Excel.

  • Assist with other financial systems such as Workiva (used for 302 certification), SharePoint, TM1 (used for planning), and more.

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including international departments, to meet organizational goals.

  • Foster a customer service-oriented environment to support internal stakeholders.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within and across departments.

  • May research system differences in SAP and CIS, our homegrown ERP system

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.

  • Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Accounting Systems required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of VBA and advanced Excel skills (macros).

  • Experience with SAP-BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation) report design and maintenance preferred. Experience with consolidation system (Oracle, Onestream, HFM, Cognos, etc.) a must.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly to high levels of management

  • Capable of developing and delivering formal reports or presentations with accuracy and efficiency

  • Self-starter with ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Experience collaborating with high-level management and working across diverse teams.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and technology.

  • Comfortable working under pressure and managing deadlines with flexibility to change and adapt as needed.

  • Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and exhibit ethical business practices.

Working Conditions:

  • Occasional overtime or non-standard hours as business needs.

  • Hybrid work environment available for candidates within a 50-mile radius of an office location.
