About The Role

The Howard Hughes Corp. is seeking a Treasury Analyst to support our Corporate Treasury team. Reporting directly to the Sr. Treasury Manager, this position is responsible for recording and reporting of all cash transactions to the Accounting Department for general ledger input. This position is also responsible for initiating electronic payments, check writing and distribution, receiving and distributing payroll, and for preparing and delivering manual bank deposits to local banks.

What You Will Do

  • Process bi-weekly payment runs for the entire saving using JD Edwards and Kyriba.

  • Prepare and accurately enter electronic payments on various bank platforms as needed.

  • Collaborate with IT to resolve an open payment related issues

  • Review monthly bank analysis statements for errors and cost savings

  • Administrate the virtual credit card program with WEX

  • Work closely with Debt Accounting and Capital Markets teams to process all debt related payments

  • Open and Close Bank accous as needed.

  • Respond to inquires about bank transactions received in our shared department email inbox.

  • Manage and document all Treasury department processes.

  • Manage online users on the various bank platforms.

  • Prepare checks received in-house for depositing into local banks.

  • Process Stop Payment/Voids, positive pay and ACH exceptions

  • Support the ongoing corporate cash management function in projects and process improvement efforts.

  • Adhoc reporting requests

  • General administrative duties.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of accounting, banking, or treasury experience required.

  • Knowledge of Kyriba treasury software.

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and related products.

  • A team player who has the ability to multi-task and is self-directed.

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.

  • Must be deadline focused, organized and exhibit problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong technical writing skills.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.

  • Handle a dynamic work environment with competing priorities.
