Overview
The US Oncology Network is looking for a Coding Specialist to join our team at Texas Oncology! This full time hybrid remote position will support our Central Business Office at 3001 E President George Bush Hwy Richardson, TX 75082. This position will work full-time Monday - Friday; The shift is flexible but must start sometime between 7:30-8:30am. Notes from the hiring manager: We are looking for an experienced surgical coder who is wanting a chance to join a rapidly growing team of coders. Texas Oncology offers continuing education credits on a regular basis, in addition to a corporate AAPC membership. Our team consists of fully remote employees located all throughout the nation with equipment provided for you by the company. Additionally, our team, including leadership, is fully staffed by certified coders. What does the Coding Specialist do? Under direct supervision, performs all medical record coding activities. Assigns appropriate diagnostic codes to patient charts and reports as assigned. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Responsibilities The essential duties and responsibilities:
