Requisition ID req31353 Working Title Admin Assistant 3 Position Grade 08 Position Summary The Department of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology is seeking a driven person for our Administrative Assistant 3 position. This position will provide daily programmatic, operational, and administrative support to the department and its faculty and their lab staff as they work on new and ongoing research for current grant funds, pilots, collaborations, extramural funding projects etc. The selected candidate will report directly to the Department Administrator. This position will assist with, but not limited to the following:
An individual with a strong work ethic, efficient teamwork, and a self-starter is vital. For such a position, the ability to set and self-manage priorities, as well as adapt to change and last-minute work assignments is essential in this fast pace environment. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications
