Description Pavion and our family of companies is seeking a talented and motivated Electronic Security CAD Designer to join our security business unit. Primary Responsibilities: Create detailed drawings and schematics for electronic security systems using CAD software Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop and refine security system designs Ensure designs comply with industry standards, local codes, and safety regulations Work with the sales team to understand client requirements and provide technical support during the sales process Create bill of materials (BOMs) and provide detailed documentation for projects Perform site surveys and assessments to gather data for design development Review and revise designs based on client feedback and project requirements Assist with the estimation of project costs and materials Maintain accurate and organized records of all design work and project documentation Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies Basic Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in electronic security system design, CAD software, and PDF editors 2+ years of experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar programs Strong technical knowledge of electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Knowledge of local building codes and regulations related to electronic security systems Preferred Qualifications: Professional certifications in electronic security systems (e.g., NICET) Disclaimer: This job description should not be construed to imply that these requirements are the exclusive standards of the position.
