The UVA School of Engineering and Applied Science seeks applications for the position of a Laboratory and Research Technician and for the position of a Laboratory Specialist to be responsible for a number of laboratory support duties in the Innovations in Fabrication (IFAB) cleanroom laboratory in Thornton Hall. IFAB is a newly renovated 17,500 sq-ft cleanroom research facility for microfabrication and biomanufacturing research. Lab and Research Technician 1 Responsibilities:
Minimum Requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience: At least 1 year of lab experience, which may include student experience.Bachelor's degree will be considered in lieu of experience. Lab Specialist Responsibilities:
Minimum Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree Experience: 3 years of relevant experience. Typical salary range for the two profiles are listed below: Lab and Research Technician 1: range of $16 - $20 per hour Lab Specialist: range of $18 - $23 per hour" This position will remain open until filled.This is a non-exempt level, benefited position.
