Job Overview
THIS IS NOT A REMOTE ROLE. THE INDIVIDUAL WILL WORK A HYBRID SCHEDULE IN ONE OF THE LOCATIONS POSTED HERE.
The Sr. Program Manager Compliance is responsible for a broad range of enterprise-level environmental, compliance responsibilities across the company and will own key programs as required EPA, and other state and local agencies. The Sr. Program Manager will ensure compliance with differing environmental regulatory requirements along with providing requisite corporate education and advisory service to T-Mobile lines of business. The focus is on maintaining all environmental regulatory compliance on all critical assets residing in T-Mobiles critical site portfolio including MSO Switch, Datacenter, POPs and other critical locations. Strong people skills are a pre-requisite as are knowledge and interpretation of applicable environmental Federal, State and local regulations. The Sr. Program Manager Compliance, will implement, communicate, and coach line of business partners on varied programs, and compliance initiatives, and policies. Project management skills and related program oversight experience are required to be successful.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist National Compliance Manager in the coordination and collection of compliance records and permits as necessary for operational compliance per local, state and federal regulations. Including but not limited to operational equipment permitting, refrigerant usage, hazardous materials storage/use, Fuel storage/usage, etc.
- Use the client's web-based tool to maintain assets, documentation and notifications of compliance obligations. Ensure that the program is running as intended and all users can access their data.
- Prepare and submit compliance reports to the client's regulatory and compliance group.
- Support the client's Risk and Compliance Group in insurance, regulatory, or corporate audits.
- Create and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) KPI's for compliance metrics across the different regulatory obligations.
- Demonstrate strong collaboration and teamwork with cross functional teams, and proactively share and re-apply all lessons learned, successes and best practices.
- Cultivate and maintain a positive working relationship with client representatives, team members and service providers.
- Self-starter, ability to proactively research compliance needs to resolve a compliance need or gap.
- Deliver Compliance regulatory expertise on equipment assets support ongoing strategic efforts and provide trusted analysis. Partner with key lines of business to drive operational adoption of EHS compliance programs into business functions. Manage related projects and programs.
- Act as SME for line of business questions and need for information and assistance through accurate and timely feedback and problem resolution.
- Determine root cause and develop and implement program changes to avoid a repeat of the problem or issue.
- Collaborate with Compliance team leadership to develop and deploy Compliance training and awareness programs. Evaluate the effectiveness of training and awareness efforts.
- Identify new projects and work streams, including defining project scope and objectives.
- Conduct periodic audits of critical nationwide compliance data associated with facility assets and requirements by jurisdictions are maintained and accurate to determine effectives of programs, data integrity and areas for improvement.
- Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
Work Experience: Required
- 5+ yrs. Experience in a corporate environmental, health & safety role or equivalent work experience in environmental science, compliance management, information systems, business administration, facilities management, or related field.
- Minimum of two years of industry experience required either in a corporate environment, third party service provider or as a consultant.
- Must have strong organizational, research and time management skills.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must have ability to research and understand Environmental Regulatory codes, applicable to Critical datacenter environments and equipment.

Base Pay Range: $77,800 - $140,300
Corporate Bonus Target: 15%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
