Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Sr Program Coordinator Supervisor (Catalog Specialist) for the Executive VP for Academic Affairs.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Manages the development, maintenance, and publication of the university's academic catalogs and curriculum.
- Works university-wide with school deans, senior administrators, the Office of Veteran Services and departmental staff to generate undergraduate, graduate and professional university catalogs.
- Works closely with the catalog/curriculum vendor to ensure timely release and publication to adhere to compliance requirements.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in English, journalism, marketing, library studies, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Two (2) years of experience in communications, marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills; must know proofreaders' marks.
- Knowledge of Chicago Manual and AP styles.
- Must be organized, detail oriented with strong planning and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be diplomatic, tactful, and exhibit confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Must be able to work autonomously and as a team member and leader.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure of deadlines and able to manage work load in order to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications |
- Experience working in a web-based catalog system, database management, or in developing web sites.
- Knowledge of HTML coding.
- Experience in marketing and public relations in a higher education or not-for-profit setting.
- Experience working with CourseDog catalog/curriculum system.
