Elwyn provides behavioral health services to improve the quality of life for individuals living with mental illness and addictions, serving over 7,000 individuals across seven states. Elwyn Adult Behavioral Health Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Master's-Level Clinician to join our dynamic Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team in Raleigh, NC. This isn't just a job - it's an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others.
Established in 2007, our ACT program has a proven track record of success in helping individuals with severe and persistent mental illness achieve greater independence and integrate back into their communities. We serve up to 120 individuals in Wake County, focusing on reducing reliance on institutional settings while fostering self-sufficiency.
$55,000 - $65,000 per year
$5000 sign-on bonus
Comprehensive benefits Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm, Raleigh, NC, and community outreach
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for adults with chronic mental illness across various programs.
- Collaborate with the ACT team to develop individualized treatment plans that address clients' unique needs and goals.
- Implement evidence-based interventions such as Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and DBT.
- Help clients build skills for independent living, including coping mechanisms, self-care, and resource utilization.
- Document progress and outcomes accurately and comprehensively.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Rehabilitative Counseling, Substance Abuse Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience working with adults experiencing chronic mental illness.
- Valid LCSW/LCSW-A, LCMHC/LCMHC-A, or equivalent North Carolina licensure.
- Strong understanding of the Diagnostic & Statistical Manual (DSM) and its clinical application.
- Proven ability to utilize evidence-based practices like Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and DBT.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and team members.
- Commitment to client-centered care and a passion for helping individuals overcome challenges are essential.
