General Scope of Job

The Training Coordinator will be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of training programs across the organization. This role will drive employee participation, reporting, auditing and completion of training initiatives while continuously enhancing the effectiveness and relevance of training content to meet organizational goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities




  1. Partner with department managers to design and develop comprehensive training programs tailored to various departments and employee needs in areas such as but not limited to Converting, Extruding, Press, and Maintenance
  2. Audit and monitor employee participation and completion of training programs
  3. Report completion status and current completion percentages of training programs to HR Manager and other departmental leaders
  4. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate and effective Assist with skills matrices across several departments.
  5. Lead coordinated training efforts for job specific roles by understanding internal and external best practices and acting as a training liaison between HR, Quality, Safety and Operations training programs
  6. Coordinate 30/60/90-day check ins and assist with ensuring 30/60/90-day reviews are completed in a timely manner
  7. Assist with Safety Mentorship Program
  8. Administer system uploads for employee reviews for mid-year and year and process as well as a variety of other HR related documents.
  9. Lead improvement efforts, develop logistics and coordination processes for key training programs and evaluations, such as Set Up Training Program and Converting Operator Evaluations
  10. Assist with updating Converting job board and participate in MDI meetings
  11. Ensure mandatory compliance in Sexual Harassment trainings
  12. Organize and track Online trainings, help with password resets, and course catalogs
  13. Assist in any IT related trainings
  14. Generate reports to assess training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
  15. Collaborate with HR and department leaders to align training initiatives with organizational objectives and employee development plans
  16. Performs other job-related duties as assigned subject to reasonable accommodations



Education and/or Experience




  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Two or more years of related experience required



Competencies

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:



  • Possesses strong communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Mechanical aptitude to understand packaging automation and company products
  • Ability to support multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Platforms
  • Strong computer skills
  • Team-Oriented: collaborates with direct and indirect team members to collectively address problems and develop solutions



Travel Requirements

Minimal travel required.
