The Dispensary Supervisor helps ensure all the daily tasks of the department are properly executed. This position requires a leader that has experience in every workstation of the department and strong cannabis knowledge. Priorities include providing full support to the team, assisting with rest/lunch breaks, communicating departmental updates, and executing all processes within the department. The Dispensary Supervisor will serve as one of the main points of contact for product related inquiries (cultivators/vendors, strain, content information), product trends, employee performance, guest related inquiries (service and product feedback), and must collaborate with management to while help maintain a high team morale.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work cross-functionally through the operation and maintain a hands-on "lead by example" approach
  • Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed by all employees in the unit and the site is in full compliance with all local and state laws while assisting with regulatory inspections
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of all store vendors, products/strains, and industry trends
  • Assisting the team with inquiries, product information and service recovery while ensuring optimal organization is achieved
  • Collaborate with the Floor and Inventory departments on all service and product related processes/matters
  • Assist with the hiring, training, coaching, and development of employees and in any and all areas to ensure the team, department, and company division maintain success
  • Delegate, manage, and empower the team to achieve an optimal performance
  • Must be highly versed in conflict resolution for customer issues
  • Act as the first point of contact for RA1/RA2 customer situations that need to be elevated
  • Align with the Inventory/Floor Manager to set, meet, and manage all financial and operational goals.
  • Partner with approved cash handling managers/supervisors to ensure the dispensary's cash flow/intake is properly managed
  • Implement and manage all Company policies and procedures
AVAILABILITY
  • Full shift availability (nights, weekends, and holidays required)
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 21+ and currently residing in the USA
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Dispensing Organization Agent Identification Card (obtained upon hire)
  • Associate Degree or industry training equivalent (preferred)
  • Retail experience, 2+ years (preferred)
  • Cannabis industry experience, 2+ years (preferred)
  • Inventory management experience, 1+ years (preferred)
  • Guest service experience, 1+ years (preferred)
  • Team building & management experience, 1+ years (preferred)
  • Excellent communication, multi-tasking, time-management, planning, & organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented, critical thinker, problem solver, & assessor
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Fast-paced, rapid-changing, retail dispensary environment
  • Back of the house, inventory-care focused areas/stations
  • Confined workstations in close proximity to other people (employees, guests, vendors) and crowds
  • Handling cannabis products and packaged goods
  • Kneeling, squatting, lifting, bending, walking, pivoting, and long-term standing (all expected activities)
  • Frequently moves boxes weighing up to 50 pounds across the site for various needs
SALARY
  • $22/hr, dependent on experience
