Operations Associate

Job Description:

The Role:

Our site in Aurora is seeking a/an Operations Associate to join our team. Entegris has an opening for 2nd ShiftOperations Associatein the slurry division - an excellent career opportunity for qualified individuals, especially those with chemical manufacturing experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Produce, package and prepare Entegris products for shipment.

  • Weighs, measures & verifies raw materials to make sure batches are made with the proper ingredients in precise quantities.

  • Receive raw material and containers.

  • Perform required data entry, recordkeeping, and make material transactions in the ERP system.

  • Perform required quality testing and inspections.

  • Maintain safe and clean working environment.

  • Immediately address any deviation to PACE values, procedures, policies, etc.

  • Engage in continuous improvement (6S) teams and LEAN manufacturing activities.

  • Contribute to plant safety initiatives.

  • Perform miscellaneous production and warehouse related tasks (for example, cycle count, preventive maintenance, housekeeping, inventory, incident investigation).

What We Seek:

Technical- Mechanical or Chemistry-related experience, hobbies/interests are usually a good fit here.

Computer- Ability to perform data entry tasks, communicate through email, knowledge of Excel, ERP systems like SAP and Oracle.

Behavioral- Team-focused attitude, eagerness to learn new things, attention to detail and dedication to come to work on time/have reliable attendance is the type of individual who thrives in our environment.

Education- HS Diploma/GED Required

Experience- One to three years of production or warehousing experience in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrates leadership ability and team building skills.

Physical -Requires manual lifting of up to 45 lbs., ability to wear respirator intermittently, as needed.

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

  • Manufacturing experience

  • Relative industry

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to multi-task

Opening for 2nd Shift:

  • Monday - Friday 2:30pm - 10:30pm (overtime may be required, as per business needs)

  • Weekend shifts will vary when needed.

  • We care about cleanliness, and the use of PPE. PPE includes - steel toe shoes (provided by us), safety glasses. Additional PPE required for certain job functions, such as full-face mask.
