Summary
The Accounting Reporting Analyst will work on supporting preparation of statutory reports in accordance with various accounting rules and regulations. The individual will support in collecting, analyzing and presenting data as instructed in support of the Reporting and Technical Accounting workgroup. They will work with various stakeholders around the organization in compilation of internal and external reports and filing those on a timely basis. The Analyst will support preparation and review of internal controls across various workstreams including gap analysis, risk assessment and remediation of the gaps. Subject matter accounting knowledge required within the areas of GAAP & FASB, and will gain exposure to GASB & FERC compliance. The Analyst should have good working knowledge of ERP platforms and related accounting systems, including intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel. #LI-JP1 Responsibilities

Physical Requirements
Up to 10% travel primarily to customer sites within NY State. The New York Power Authority is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. The estimated salary range for this position is: $84,380.00 - 110,010.00. The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates' relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
