Pay Rate: $20.00 - $29.00 per hour Shift: 3rd Shift (specific days and times provided during interview process) In this role, you will train to oversee the heat treatment of both open and closed die forgings, as well as in-house conversions of ingots, billets, and rolled rings. Under constant supervision, you will develop the skills needed to operate heat treat furnaces, control temperatures, and monitor the entire process to ensure high-quality results. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Training to understand and control heat treat furnaces, including their limits and capabilities Prepare furnace loads based on material type and allowable quantity in the furnace Verify piece count, straightness, and flatness of parts before and after heat treatment Perform cold and hot straightening when necessary to meet quality standards Conduct hardness inspections to ensure material integrity Monitor furnace light-up and oversee its operation during the heat treatment process Follow all safety protocols and Company policies, including safety rules and regulations Work in a professional, ethical, and honest manner at all times, while adhering to company procedures Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. 3-6 months of related experience or training in a similar field is preferred but not required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment. Steel-toe boots are required. Willingness to learn and take direction under close supervision.
