The preferred candidate will be based in Columbus, Ohio, working a hybrid schedule from our corporate office. However, for highly qualified candidates residing outside the Columbus area, we are open to remote work arrangements from any of our payroll-registered states, as listed on our careers page. Candidates outside Columbus may be considered for home-based positions. We are open to hiring at multiple seniority levels. The compensation range posted is inclusive of both seniority levels. JOB OBJECTIVE This role supports the implementation of the underwriting quality assurance program and processes. This role will be responsible for performing quality assurance reviews of the work completed by commercial lines underwriters. Additionally, this role will provide feedback to leadership for coaching and development of individual underwriter's knowledge and skills. The role is charged with helping improve the quality and efficiency of the underwriting operation and supports developing technical competencies and best practices. This role will identify gaps and lead initiatives to enhance and implement quality assurance systems or applications ensuring efficiency and improving processes.
