Data Engineer

Job Description:

DataFielder is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to work remote. Facilitate coordination and implementation of AI/Machine Learning strategy and enterprise AI/Machine Learning roadmap through performance of project management activities, data science support, development, and dissemination of informational and training related materials and artifacts for consumption by internal and external partners, and coordination and collaboration assistance with agency programs, governance bodies, and partners.

Responsibilities:

• Work in a mid-size team of Sr. Data and AIML engineers.
• Collaborate with ML and Data Engineers to develop data-centric applications.
• Provide not only software development expertise but also hands-on technical skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree 3+ years of experience building with Azure Data Factory and PySparkk.
• Experience building data-centric applications with Databricks or Palantir.
• Experience with CI/CD processes.
• Experience with Databricks Platform Administration, managing cluster policies, managing data security.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in developing coding best practices and frameworks in Data Engineering and Machine Learning.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
• Possession of strong written and verbal communication skills
• 3+ years of experience in front-end development with Python Flask or similar technology

• Must be US Citizen or with the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance (Public Trust 5) within a reasonable period.
