Overview
DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking two Junior Cyber Engineers to join the USTRANSCOM cybersecurity team. The Junior Cyber Engineers will assist in the implementation and management of RMF activities, vulnerability assessments, and security monitoring. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in cybersecurity, providing hands-on experience in supporting secure information systems in compliance with DoD regulations. This position is onsite at Scott AFB.

Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Must hold an active an IAT Level II certification; CompTIA Security+ CE highly preferred.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in information assurance, cybersecurity, or related fields, specifically within the DoD environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related technical disciplines.
- Basic understanding of vulnerability scanning and secure system configurations using tools such as ACAS, Nessus, and Fortify.
- Familiarity with RMF and NIST SP 800-53 security controls.
- Exposure to DISA STIGs/SRGs and DoD cybersecurity compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to support senior engineers in cybersecurity operations.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting security findings and collaborating with team members.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic cybersecurity environment.
