Horizon BCBSNJ employees must live in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut or Delaware Job Summary: The Paralegal provides legal support to the in-house legal team at Horizon focusing on litigation. The Paralegal prepares and maintains legal documents for review, approval, and use, investigates facts, conducts and coordinates document collections, and researches and analyzes law. The incumbent communicates with various internal and external contacts (including outside counsel), prepares business correspondence and reports, and assists with the organization and maintenance of Company documents and department files. The Paralegal I is supervised by attorneys on legal matters, and requires the use of independent judgment to make recommendations to legal staff on a variety of matters. Responsibilities:
