Overview

Installed Sales Commercial Production Manager (IC) works with the commercial hub, install management, field operations, and team headquarters to help ensure profitability of commercial jobs within their area as well as protect 84 from financial loss and long-term liabilities. This position will ensure that all commercial Install Managers are managed per their AORs and are following 84 Lumber's policies and procedures. This position will also be responsible for the Installed Sales Commercial P&L for the defined territory.


Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  • Build labor quotes, bids, and proposals (scope/inclusion/exclusions/pricing/duration)
  • Review and understand plans (spec book/structural/architectural/RFP/bid docs)
  • Build complete proposal and review with leadership teams
  • Subcontractor recruitment
  • Job site visits to verify capabilities (PPE, PFAS, OSHA)
  • Contract review (SOV, installer docs, vendor docs)
  • Generate RFP, RFI, quantify estimates

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
Busy office environment with frequent interruptions. This position requires working outdoors and being exposed to wet, humid, extremely hot or extremely cold conditions.

Physical Demands
This position will require the employee to stand for long periods of time, as well as walking, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, and lifting up to 80 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work depends on hours of operations, 48+ hours per week

Travel
Travel is expected for this position.


Qualifications

Competencies

  • Word processing software
  • Spreadsheet and Internet software
  • Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers
  • Ability to read and comprehend documents (i.e. policy and procedure manuals), write routine reports and correspondence, and speak/present in front of a small group
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form, and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred; at least 3-5 years of experience.
