Farmers State of Camp Point, a United Community Bank, is in search of a lead teller for the Camp Point, IL location. The Lead Teller oversees overall daily activities of teller staff including training and maintaining records of vault and teller cash balances.





Duties may include:



  • Manage tellers daily operations
  • Assists tellers in locating cash discrepancies, manages unusual transactions, and answers customer questions when required
  • Manage scheduling and designation of additional daily tasks to teller team
  • Provides on the job training for tellers.
  • Monitors tellers to ensure compliance with procedures and policies (specifically Reg. CC training)
  • Ensure all tellers are complying and up to date with bankers training online
  • Distributes written and oral instructions on teller operations as necessary
  • Administrative Duties
  • File CTR's
  • Oversee the maintenance and balancing of the ATM machine
  • Oversee the timely processing of all proof work
  • Balances cash vault daily (dual control)
  • Order and ship currency and coin weekly
  • Performs monthly audits of all teller stations
  • Ensures all teller stations are properly stocked, secured and maintained


Procedural/General Duties



  • Performs normal teller duties on a daily basis
  • Maintains reports documenting cash outages, balances, time cards, and daily cash recaps
  • Monthly balancing of license plate stickers and savings bonds


  • Maintain familiarity with the Bank Secrecy Act Policy, OFAC Policy, Check Cashing Policy, Teller Guidelines Policy, and any other positions relevant to your position

Computer requirements:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point).

Web Teller, calculator, check imaging, coin machine.

Working conditions: This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Attendance requirement: Employees are expected to report to work as scheduled, on time and prepared to start work. Employees are expected to remain at work for their entire work schedule. Late arrival, early departure or other absences from scheduled hours should be avoided

Physical requirements:




  • Ability to stand for up to eight hours



  • Requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary



  • Requires the ability to hear, speak and/or signal people



  • Effectively communicate verbally, in writing, and in English



  • Requires manual dexterity, typing, and the ability to lift files and open filing cabinets



  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
